Hi everyone!!!

Some layouts i have been doing on my SCRAP DAY WEDNESDAY!!.. remember if you live close to me please pop over on a Wednesday and scrap!! I have been having a Ball...

Cowgirl was done a few weeks ago and i'm engaged i done today!!.. I have also finished my ARTY PANTS DT stuff.. but i just can't share YET!!!

I have also been working on this Christmas Quilt the last few months Still a long way to go but hopefully i can finish for Christmas this year... Here is the start of my first pack...

My Dancing Queen...

Last week Jorja had her first Ballet lesson.. it was OH SO CUTE!!!
She will be doing Ballet and Tap..

Last week she done a lot of running around.. and not much dancing... She was fine doing Ballet but when it came to doing Tap she didnt want to.. I think it because she has yet to get her Tap shoes... Waiting until they get a size in small enough for her... But i did mange to get her leotard, stockings and Ballet shoes..

Which we tried out the first time this week... BOy she is cute.. Today after class i brought her The HOT PINK dance top (they had her size).. so i will share photos of that next week.. Jorja wasnt in the mood for photos when we got home!!

But here she is this morning before we left!!

Yes you read that right....lol..

Today a friend and I spent the day scrapping on my dinning room table.. HEAPS of FUN!!.. i am really starting to enjoy scrap booking again....
We plan to do it every Wednesday from now on... So i now declare WEDNESDAY SCRAPBOOK DAY!!.. Any local girls who would like to join in... just send me an email... the more the merrier i say!!!

School Holidays so busy.. i really cant remember what i done week to week.. But we had the family down for 2 weeks... a lot of hanging around the house (which i like)a lot of day where we were all still in our PJ's at 4pm (bad i know)...
But i did manage to do a couple of shoots (see photo blog) and met up with some friends!!..

I finally got to met the talented Katie Toland!!... We met up at Frankston beach so the kids could have a play and we could chat away.. I really had a great time.. we talked photography...ummmm.. more photography.. and lots more...LOL...
I didn't take that many photos at all.. Still yet to go through them!!
But i know Katie has popped some on her blog.. so have a lookie!!
Thanks for the great day Katie, L, and E.. lets do it again sometime!!!

Today was K's first day back at school... GRADE 4.. wow.... He is a bit excited this year because he gets to go for his pen licence... remember doing that myself.. so cute!!.. He really wants to start writing in pen!!

Hello...
hope we are all having a GREAT weekend!!.. I know i am...lol....

I finally took at look at some of the shop photos to share with you all
We are pretty excited about having a nice new clean shop to start over with..
it not finished yet... still has a bit more work to go.. but we are open and its all coming together....

I will share a photo when it is finished and all pretty...(well as pretty as a butcher shop can be...)

This year i have made a huge decision to really expand and branch out my photography business.
One major step i want to make is location shoots!!
At the moment i mainly work in my home studio.. But hoping to branch out into something more!!
Now.. I am after some models... models for me to practice some location shots on.. (eg.. parks, beaches etc) to use in my portfolio.

FUN FUN FUN!

A few snaps of the kids running around the back yard... couple of days after Christmas..
Jorja would only squirt herself in the face...LOL...

Not much been happening around here.. which i like... We opened a brand (close enough) new shop today.. so the kids and i went for a dive up there to have lunch with Mark... looking really good.. but not quite finished YET!!.. i will sort out the photos and share soon...
When we got back the kids and i went for a bike ride.. well the kids did i walked... to try out there new bikes on the open road...lol..
We didn't get far.... but i got some really great photos.. we ended up hanging out in our court most of the time.. riding bikes and scooters!!!
I took over 100 photos.. so bad... so i may add some more tonight after dinner!!

Christmas Day 2007...

I love Christmas time.. i really do.. i LOVE summer... bring back those 40 days.. i just LOVE it.. One thing i now know... is i don't like cooking Christmas day lunch...lol..
So no i wont be doing it next year...
Most of the Day it felt like i was in the kitchen... My Mum and June (dear dear friend) done a fantastic job in helping me out BIG time... June done the BEST crackle EVER!!.. thanks Juney!!!
But lunch was very yummy.... so much yummy food to eat... great company.....
This year Marks family came down for Christmas... so we had Pam, Bob (marks mum and step dad), David and Lauren (marks twin brother and sister), My Mum, My Dad, Nanna and Gramps, and friends June and JJ... and of course us...lol...

The Kids had a ball... and got everything there heart could ever want.. Yes they where very spoilt this year... but this time i don't care.. Mark and i have worked hard to be able to give out kids nice things... so why NOT i say...lol.. (now the credit card bill wont be nice..lol..)
Keenan ended up getting everything that he asked Santa for and a whole lot more!!
A Nintendo DS
Ipod Nano
New bike ( mongoose )
new clothes..
heaps of toys, DS games, etc...

Jorja... the same.. everything her little heart could ever want...
Swing set
Cubby house
new bike
quad bike (battery one)
clothes, toys, another Cabbage patch kid (that makes 3 and a dog).. heaps of Dora stuff....
I am still sorting out there rooms to fit everything in...lol..

This year i got Mark a Table Tennis Table, new drill, lots of clothes, fishing voucher...
Me.. well i was spoilt too....lol.. i got my new sewing machine... ohh so nice... and my naughty little Mark went out and brought me some more Pandora charms.. now that was a surprise!!!
Christmas Day at our place was really great this year....

Christmas EVE.. i was up late.. Waiting for David to arrive from Perth.. he got in about 1am!!.. But it was great to see him.. so while i was waiting i took a couple of photos... Santa must have Jim Beam in our house...lol.. (went down really good too...lol)

These are just a few photos... i still have heaps to look at!!.. How is the last one of Keenan... thats him opening up his Ipod... Do you think he liked it??....LOL...

Well thats it from me today.... still have heaps to catch up on...

We shut the shop as of New Years Day to start our renovations.. The shop has been gutted and re tiled, stainless steel all over the walls, new counters etc...
Yesterday Mark and i spent the day there (mum watched the kids) To start to step the shop back up so we can re open Tuesday.. i will share the photos next post!!!....

OH yeah.. i need some help from any handy hubbies out there... PLEASE..
I took an old butchers block from the shop that we don't need to use any more and i want to restore it and use it in my kitchen... anyone have any idea where i start??... the top needs to be cut off the main block to make it a flat surface again.. Mark is so NOT a handy man and doesn't have a clue where i begin...

Today is the last day of school... and i decided to keep Keenan home for the day!!.. as much as he wanted to go.. i couldn't be bothered to be picking him up at 1:30 etc etc... just me being a lazy mumma AGAIN....lol..

I have been so super busy its not funny... but i have news.... I HAVE FINISHED MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHH
Finished yesterday!!!

Marks family all arrive from Queensland this afternoon... so i have been super busy cleaning making the house look perfect... We also have our friend Jacinta here with us today as her Mum had to work and she has been a GREAT help with Jorja!!
Si i took us all down the shops to buy supplies for Rudolph Cookies which i found on Mel's blog.... great blog check it out!!!
And some yummy fish and chips for lunch!!!

HOW CUTE ARE THEY!!!... Rudolph cookies are now resting in the fridge ready to eat a bit later... yummmy..

This is really a good bye post!!... not forever just for the Christmas break... With the family arriving today i wont have anytime to blog...

so i want to wish all my friends a VERY VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

and i would like to thank you all for leaving me comments all though the year i just LOVE getting them.. so thank you very much!!!

Where have i been??... well i have been shopping, shopping and more shopping!!!.. i have finished my editing for the year and have closed shop until next year now!!
i am so over shopping its not funny.. and this is coming from the shopping queen... I'm sick of fighting the crowds, not finding what i want.. parking, Jorja is over sitting in the pram..lol... But i still haven't finished YET!!.. only a couple more to go which i hope to finish on Monday!!!

We all have been super busy... Mark is run off his feet at the shop.. Keenan had his end of school concert last week and i was so sick that i could only stay for his song and go... i can't share any photo because his whole class is in them....but just take my word for it he is the next JT..lol.. he has the moves!!
We have had Christmas party after Christmas party.. that we have yet to have a family day together for over a month... every Sunday has been booked out!!
Tomorrow we are off to another Christmas party... Chinese in Richmond.. can't wait a night out for Mark and i with no kids... Mum is coming over to baby sit for us.. and the WHOLE night is paid for... YEAH.. how cool is that.. even a taxi from here to Richmond and back again... so we can all drink!!....

Last night i headed out to the Paper Doll Christmas party!!.. God i love those girls.. and i am so going to miss them.. As you all have heard by now Paper Doll is closing down.. my second home... MY WENDY... is leaving me... it so sad and i will miss everyone and EVERYTHING so very much!!!.. Wendy your friendship has been wonderful over that last year or so.. and i know it will continue.. but i will miss my drop in.. so watch out.. cause i know where you live...LOL....
I have also be SACKED from the Paper Doll DT... HOW RUDE!!!....lol....
and poor Wendy we have been hanging so much shit on her about it...lol... Sorry Wendy you know we LOVE you!!!

So anyway last night... SO FUN!!!.. We done a KK.. and i got the most stunning picture frame from me sweet friend Vesna.... Thank you.. i love it and the cute little dolly pictures also!!!
Karen.. made me the most stunning little dove for my Christmas tree... You are so clever sweetie!!.. Thank you so much!!
and well as for Leeanne.. not much i can say about her...lol.. you cheeky girl!!!.
I really hope we can all get together again in the new year!!!

I have done a little scrapping over the last few months... a whole two layouts and a mini album..lol.. HUGE!!... i will share my mini album next post as this is already getting to long!!!

I also have a few sewing projects on the go.. which i will share with you all soon....
Next week Mark's family all arrive from Queensland for two weeks!!.. it going to be so exciting to see them all again... we all can't wait!!... I have worked out where everyone is going to sleep... thank god...
So we will be spending Christmas at our place this year... 13 people.. OMG.. but thank god i have Mum and Pam (Mark's Mum) tp help out with the cooking.. should be a GREAT day!!!
The kids are getting excited.. Keenan can't wait for Santa and Jorja well she is scared of him...lol... maybe next year!!

Christmas time at my place!!

Well... i finally got my tree up.. yesterday afternoon... after a HUGE day Christmas shopping with my friend Nic... what a day!!
I still feel like i have nothing done... i ended up buying more for the kids yesterday than anyone else... like the kids need any more..lol.. but every shop i went in there was a bargain to good to pass up.. and it was mostly on toys.. i am NEVER going into Toys R US again.. major damage in that shop...lol...

I have finally finished my Christmas table runner.. i am so happy... again very how you going in some parts and i wont let anybody look at it too close...lol...
but happy that i made it all by myself with no help from anyone... i am really starting to enjoy this sewing stuff!!

Part 2... THE PARTY!!!

WOW.. its already seems so long ago......
Well there are NO photos from the party...lol... what kind of photographer am i...lol....
i only have the day after shots to share with you...

Leading up to the party i was so stressed out.... just trying to get everything done.. but once we got under way i had a BALL.....

All the family started to arrive first.. and i was still in the shower getting dressed...lol... I was still trying to get our "meat cutter" organized (yes we hired staff to help out...lol) and my dear Mother was no where to be seen... major stress... Mark and the kids where ready... thank god...
Our front door got broken in all the drama of the finishing touches...lol...

But once people started to arrive i just seemed to relax and i started drinking.... good idea i say....I didn't really see Mark all night... we where both too busy playing host to everyone and trying to talk to all our guest...
But as the night wore on i was getting pretty drunk...lol... oh man it was great to be drunk...
Then we start getting rude...lol....But i promise the rude nits didn't start until most people had left... but about 12 there was about 10 of our CLOSET friends left so we pulled up a group of chair and drunk, mucked around, became very rude, laughed etc.. the best time....
To be honest i don't really remember alot about the party... it all seems like a huge blur.. and drinking wouldn't have helped..lol..
All i wanted was to get drunk with my friends and have a ball... and i did.. We did...
I got to bed around 4am..lol.... and Jorja woke up at 8am... how lucky am i....
A few people ended up sleeping over as it always happens so there where bodies everywhere and the mess WOW.... it too me days to clean it up....
but worth it all in the end..

We got the most amazing gifts.....i loved every single one of them.. just goes to show how well my family and friends know Mark and i... and we also got a HEAP of cash... still trying to work out what we are going to buy with it!!!...lol...

I remember at one stage just standing back.. taking a breath and having a look around and everyone was having a ball... laughing chatting it was great to see... but to me there was one thing missing... my brother....i didn't invite him.. but how do you invite someone who doesn't even know I'm alive
So i made hardest decision of my life and didn't invite him.. but this is something that will only happen once in a life time.. my engagement.. and i really felt that i couldn't do it... i am sick of being rejected all the time from him.. I'm sick of caring so much about him and his kids and only to have my heart ripped out...
so i decided.. this is mine and Mark's night... i don't want any family issues to spoil that.. so i didn't let that happen....
I did have his invite sitting here and a few days before i was just going to do it... but when he didn't bother to call, sms NOTHING for Jorja's birthday.. i knew how much he hates me...something i never thought would ever happen to a brother and sister....enough now.

so onto some after the party photos....

The mess inside was HUGE... lol....

Sorry if this post seems all over the place.. and doesn't make any sense at all.. but that's how the party was too me... an all over the place no sense heap of FUN and LAUGHS!!.....lol...

I would really like to thank my Mum for all the hard work she done for us and a huge thanks to Shelly and Bruce for flying down from Sydney to be with us
and to everyone who came... i really hope you all had fun.. because Mark and i did!!!

First Quilt.....

I'm really really happy with this... and YES its a bit how you going in parts.. but its mine and i made it with my own hands..
It's a baby blanket for Jorja's baby dolls....

I have brought all the fabric for Jorja's quilt now... so I'm going to finish my Christmas runner this week and then we start the BIG one!!!...lol...

Jorja's Birthday!!!

My sweet girl as you properly already know turned the big 2 last week!!
I just can't believe how fast it all goes... i mean she is 2 WOW...
And with each day she is growning and learning so much.. right now she is sitting onto he floor next to the computer "changing her baby alives nappy".. She has pulled the nappy off... got the "baby alive nappy wipes" and wiped her bum, some fake powder has been put on and now she is trying so hard to put the nappy on... even looking at her "own" nappy for pointers...lol...
Anyway, last Thursday we had a quite birthday for Jorja... just a few close friends and my mum came over for a simple BBQ and some cake... i loved it... really relaxing and Jorja had a ball getting all her pressie's... She has that un wrapping down pat now!!..
Mark and i got her a Dora kitchen set... which is UNREAL.. and i caved and brought her a Baby Alive... which i am so very impressed with.. that doll is amazing...and of course i HAD to buy all the "extras" to go with the Baby alive...lol...

Now the cake... YES thats a "cars" cake you see..lol... All she wanted was cars..I think my little girl maybe a tom boy at heart...lol... too cute!!!

I have been so super busy lately... its not funny.... My photography business is going really well....fingers crossed it continues into the new year!!
I have two bookings this weekend..plu one shoot still to edit!!.. but to me its not work... i really love taking photos and then sitting down late at night and playing around with the... ooo so fun!!!

I have also finished my first QUILT!!!.. yes you heard that right... well its a baby blanket quilt.. start small... But i have already brought all the fabric for the quilt i will be making for Jorja's room.... so stay turned for that...

Please please if i EVER say that i am going to have a party again...

PLEASE TALK ME OUT OF IT LOL

I have just been flat out trying to get everything ready....I think the whole patio thing has thrown me out of my mind.. and NO its still not finished...lol

The roof goes on this Friday.... the day before the party.. boy we are cutting it close... i haven't finished painting.. so please close your eyes at that part...lol

I went out shopping all day today.. buying supplies etc, ordering all the food plus buying heaps of birthday presents for Bella who just turned one and Caitlyn who just turned 3... and of course my baby girl who will be 2 tomorrow.. more on that then!!

I didn't end up finding a Cabbage Patch Kid with the same birthday.. not fair..

Tomorrow our friends from Sydney arrive so i am really looking forward to that
Friday Mum has the day of work THANK YOU GOD so we will be super busy getting the last minute stuff done...
and at some point i need to get my lawn mowed...grrrrrr

So back tomorrow with photos of my soon to be 2 YEAR OLD!!!

OMG.. my week has been so super busy... one minute i was coming home from a FANTASTIC day at CROP 4 CURE...
next thing i know its the following Sunday night!!!

This is just a super fast drop in just to let you all know i am still here... but not...lol..

This week for me is so jam packed its not funny.. i don't even know where to start tomorrow morning....

Hopefully i will be able to post before the weekend.. so i can share all my photos from CROP 4 Cure.. (sorry ladies).. i really haven't had a chance to look at them yet!!

Sad Day...... :(

Today Jorja started her first day at Family Day care.... My baby is growing up so fast...I have been putting this off for so long now..as i don't want to let her go...But she needs to play with other kids... at least once a week.. So from now on Fridays is play day... I dropped her off at 9am and she didn't even care that i was leaving...:( Just a BYE MUM and that's it.. i have rang up Anne and she is doing great... hasn't even asked for me yet.. :(
Now what to do.... i have finished all my mornings jobs in record time...You really do feel lost without them.. Really makes me want another baby....(by tonight i will have taken that back..lol)

So here is my BIG girl this morning... all ready for "School" (as we are calling it)

Not much else has be going on... I am slowly getting over this cold... i still have the cough.. but only really at night now
I have started painting the patio... oh what a FUN job that is...grrr and its been raining here so i have had to put it on hold for now... fingers crossed its all done before the party..

Ok a bit of sharing.......

The Christmas layout was inspired but the "napkin" article in this months SC.. great idea... and i just so happen to have some Christmas ones left over from last year...
I wasn't sure on this.. but now its kind of growing one me...lol...

Adore... A quick layout i done last night.. I done a big clean out in my scrap room last week and found all these chipboard squares.. so i decided to use them up as i couldn't find a home for them.. Really love how this one just fell together...

Only TWO more sleep until CROP FOR CURE.. i am so excited... This will be my real first major crop day!!.. I have been to night crops and classes.. but not an ALL DAY crop fest!!!!!...

I have been so sick all week.......
just a flu type thing.... and just feeling like crap..

My house is a total mess... i cant find any strength in me to get off the couch... all i have pretty done all week... is take Keenan to school... play babies with Jorja all day... pick keenan up.. make some kind of slop for dinner....lol.. and back on the couch again.. and sleep.. well what is that... i think maybe i have gotten 6 hours sleep all week...lol (ok maybe a bit more but it feels like it)

I missed out on going to Paper Doll last night for their Friday night crop.. i would have spent the night coughing at everyone... NICE!!!
So i just watch re runs of Law and Order SVU on foxtel...lol....

Last post i said that i talked Mark out of doing the Patio before the party.....

mmmmmmmmm... i think a PATIO!!!....lol... couldn't believe it.. Steve knock on my door Wednesday with this digger thingy all ready to dig away... i nearly fell over...
and yes you guessed it Mark never cancelled it!!!
So yes we are have a new patio built now... i told the boys it better be finished and looking nice or i will kill them all...lol...
Tomorrow they are all around here to make a start....so more to come!!!

He even had gotten quotes on all the timber... cheeky bugger...lol... and it all got delivered yesterday.... i bet he ordered on Monday morning...lol....
but you know what... pay back....lol.....

So no scrapping done this week.. couldn't be bothered...
but i have been playing around with my camera....my camera bring me comfort... yes i know strange but it does in a way!!!

I did manage to have a play over the weekend.. WHOOO HOOOO...
Our friends cancelled on Saturday.. their daughter is sick and i talked Mark out of doing the patio so close to the party so no one on Sunday either...LOL...

I pieced together my Christmas table runner.. so excited!!.. now all i need to do is quilt and do the binding... any sewers out there wish to pass on any tips for me PLEASE DO!!.. as i don't have a clue where to start..lol..
Been doing some surfing... so hoping i can find something on the WWW!!!!

I also finished a layout!!.. yes i scrapped... really loving this layout at the moment... one of the better ones i have done the last few months.. maybe my scrap mojo is coming back!!!!

Not much else been happening.. We are all sick (except for Keenan)... sore throats stuffy heads and both Mark and i have a really bad cough... not nice.. so not much sleep in our house ATM!!!

Do you ever.....

Have weekends where all you want to do is CREATE... PLAY....SCRAP???
Well that's what i am feeling.... but has it happened NO ...lol

Yesterday i spent the morning cutting fabric all ready to get sewing last night....But it never happened... Friends dropped by...lol.. Don't get me wrong i LOVE catching up with friends... but just not when i am soooo itching to PLAY!!...
Then Mark goes and invites friends over for a BBQ TODAY!!!... another day gone.. and then.... yes all true.... Mark and some friends are going to start the new patio tomorrow (if the rain holds off) so yet another BBQ and friends.... so looks like no creating for me this weekend....lol...
and my fingers are so ready to go.. my head is full of ideas....i really just want to hide in my scrap room in my trackies for two days and just have FUN!!!... oh well there is always next weekend.....lol

This is what i done yesterday morning.. 96 squares all cut out!!!... i didn't find this fun at all...lol...
and my table runner all layed out on my table ready to piece together... and there is NOWAY i am moving that today.. took me forever to get the look i wanted...LOL..
we will just have to eat around it!!!!....

Thursday i was up at the shop... just doing a bit of cleaning.... new tickets and learning how to use the pricing machine... We stock the supermarket next door.. and IGA.. and they have to have certain pricing stickers on the meat packs... boy that machine is tricky... i have a book full of notes which i hope to type out this weekend and stick it to the wall... so i never forget...lol...
Mark is still stressing about everything... but i keep trying to tell him its going to be a slow process to get the shop looking the way we want it... first job is to re-tile the whole floor... but trying to figure out the best weekend (so we don't have to close) is becoming the hardest part!! Then our new counter will go in... (its sitting in Micks garage ATM) and them hopefully cover the walls in stainless steel.. a lot cleaner than tiles....i don't think all this will be finished b4 Christmas... I will take some photos soon and share!!!

The invites are all printed and on there way...Now its just getting ready for the party..lol.... We are getting the spit from the shop.. with one of our staff to cater it for us.. (this includes salads) and as said above Mark has decided its right now we have to extend the patio... it better be finished b4 the party.. or there will be blood..lots of blood.....lol....

Oh well... better go.. clean the house for our guests and then off to golf with Keenan...

Daisy Chains.......

When i was a kid i loved making daisy chains....and when Jorja and i went out side for our little walk to say HI to the cows across the road there was a HUGE field of them.. so i had to sit down and make one!!!...lol..

Sorry about the bad photo... by the time we came back in side the light was very low... so i just took a quick snap.... BTW.. the daisy chain is no longer...lol.. took Jorja the whole off maybe 10 seconds to rip it apart...oh well!!!

I have finally taken a photo off my layout that i done at the Paper Doll Friday night crop.....

Not much been going on around here... Keenan's back at school this week.. so we are slowly getting used to getting out of bed early...lol
Mark started at our Rowville shop full time this week.. so its all systems go...
few problems.. our full timer quit on Tuesday.. but other than that all good...
Look like i may be heading back to work soon...lol...Im going to be meat packer at the shop.. just a couple of mornings a week....me pack meat....lol...
Just going to help out while we are a staff member down.....
I will still be doing my photography.. its a passion of mine.. one i have had since high school and i really want to get my business off the ground.. so looks like a busy year ahead of us!!!

Just got home from another FANTASTIC crop night at Paper Doll... love it when i get the chance to go... and tonight was perfect.. Mark was home early from work for a change so i got to cook dinner early!!!!
I only got one layout finished.. will sort off.. just need to add a couple of bits that i have left at home... and i started to "plan" another..lol....

Last night we went out for Dinner with some friends.. The Springvale RSL... nice dinner, GREAT company but not such a GOOD show..lol.. Remember Wilbur from Hey Hey it's Saturday.. well he was playing, singing and trying so hard to be funny.. but was so NOT... thank god it was a FREE show..lol... most people walked out!!!.. Really bad!!!

Onto some stitching... I am really enjoying my new found hobby... like i need another one...Yesterday i made Jorja a Apron... i designed the pattern myself.. so its a Connie original...lol.. not that hard really...But i am so happy it worked and it FITS her... perfect... The photos are not that good... Jorja was NOT in the mood to model for mummy today....but you get the idea... The apron is fully lined with the same fabric as the front pocket!!!

And i thought i would share with you my next projects... As i have said before my aim here is to one day make a quilt (for Jorja's bed).. but i am starting off small and working my way up..as I'm so very new to this...

So i have started this Christmas table runner for my Christmas table.. I picked up this pack from a cute Quilting shop i found while up in Yarrawonga.. i had to buy it...
I have started this and i have all most finished the embroidery panel.. i will share when I'm done.. and then onto the quilting....

Project number too.. is also Christmas themed...lol... When i saw these little Santa's i just had to have them.. The lady put together a kit for me so i have everything ready to go.. I brought this pack from the Craft Fair i went to a few weeks ago....

Ok think its my bed time now...lol....hope i haven't bored you all too much!!!..lol.

GREAT NEWS

My Gramps came home from hospital today... all your wonderful prayers have worked... still unsure what is wrong with him.. but it looks like the pace maker is now off the cards as his tablets are working fine...
I have yet to speck to him (wanted him to settle back in at home first) but i will give him a call in the morning.....

Been a busy few days...Well with Gramps in Hospital.. i was keeping track of my Nanna.. ringing up making sure everything was alright... lucky my cousin Mel lives nice and close to her so she was able to help out heaps...Take Nanna to the hospital etc.... BTW Its Mel birthday today.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL!!
And with heaps of shop stuff to still sort out.. banking, books, the company car (van)etc.. i woke up today and didn't know what day it was...lol..
My Dad has also been unwell and has been put in home hospital care.. so also been worrying about him.. in between all that i done general housework, went shopping with my friend Nic... ( naughty me have to hide the CC bill next month..lol)..and lunch today with Julie.
Tomorrow i plan on staying home...lol...
I also have booked a trip for Marks family to come down from QLD for Christmas and New Year.. so excited about that... cant wait to see them all again..
and also started planning my engagement party.. Trying to get Mark to go with a THEME..lol.. his not too keen on that idea!!!
More on that later....
By the time i got home today i was stuffed... Jorja was hanging to go out side and play on her new gym thingy (well its not new.. it was Keenan's..and i just got it back.. lent it out ages ago..lol)
She loves it..... "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" is all she says the whole time...lol

so i will leave my very boring update with some quick snaps of Jorja playing... so NOT happy with these photos... i was shooting on a VERY high ISO (forgot to change it grrrrr)..so they pretty much came out crap...lol....oh well doesn't matter.. great for a page!!!

SEWING AWAY!!!

Well its a official... i now have the sewing bug.. BIG TIME.... i have been to Spotlight twice over the weekend...lol... picking up more yummy fabrics and little bits that i don't have..
I love that shop!!

So in between the BIG footy weekend... GO CATS.. and GO STORM...with catching up with friends, looking after kids, doing general house work i managed to make one smock top for Jorja, whip up a pin cushion.. just because and try my hand at applique.. (which i have never done before).. so here goes.....

a old pumpkin patch t shirt of Jorja's...just jazzed it up a bit!! what do you think??
some parts are a bit ruff around the edges... but Happy with my first go!!!

My first go at a smock... i love this so much... Jorja has already worn it with Jeans and a pink long sleeve top underneath (should have taken a photo) and Mark asked me where i brought that top from..lol... he didn't believe me when i told him i made it!!... so proud... again some bits are a bit how you going.. but i can only get better... this pattern was taken from a link over at Mel Goodsells blog if you want to check it out!!!

and my very sad looking pin cushion....lol......

And can i ask all my blogger friends today to say a little prayer for my Grandfather... Gramps (as we call him) is in hospital.. problems with his heart.. He is having more tests today to see if he will need an operation to have a pace maker put in... so please put him in your prays...
I went in yesterday to see him.. He was in great spirits and really loved seeing the kids...hopefully will find out more today...

Now who is a COPYCAT!!!

I AM THAT'S WHO....lol....

Over the last month or so i have head over heels fallen in love with Mel Goodsell's blog...
Not only is her scrapping so inspiring but her sewing skills just AMAZE me....
I have always wanted to learn how to sew.. and i have shown a few little things i have made this past year... (remember my Bunny's and first pillow) and the other week my first bag....
Mel's blog makes me want to sew...i stalk her everyday.. lol.. (sorry Mel but i do) just hanging to see what she has made next!!
Last night i popped over and she had made a little nappy, dress and head band for her daughters Monkey... OMG too cute... so i just had to make one for Jorja's CPK...

I used the pattern that i got from Mel's blog for the nappy and they tried oh so hard to copy her little dress... now that was the hard bit... never have sewn without a pattern before... the nappy only took 15mins tops.. but that itty bitty tiny dress took me over an hour...lol...

so anyway here is my go... I really hope you don't mind Mel that i copied you right down to the last detail.... SORRY.....

Its not finished yet and Velcro needs to be added... i don't have any on hand....

Yesterday i dragged the kids around spotlight for over two hours...lol... im such a mean mummy.. i just didn't know where to start.. what to buy... so much fun..
I picked out a couple of fabrics to start me off...

I plan on making a skirt for Jorja out of the strawberry fabric.. just so cute... not sure what to do with the other YET!!!

Its such a cold windy and rainy day here in Melbourne i just plan on hanging out in my nice warm house.. maybe do a bit of sewing....

i only made a few weeks ago... i brought a kit from the craft fair.. Also my fave wooden box.. which i brought on a trip to Bali and my sweet perfume bottle given to me from a great friend......

My new wire Mannequin.. i only brought the other day!!!!

My "STELLA" bag...lol... This may seem strange but to me this hold a great memory shopping with my Friend Nic...it was the funniest day i have had in a long time.. We walked around Fountain Gate shopping centre yelling "STELLA" out to anyone who would listen...lol.. Very childish but oh so fun!! Nic also has her bag hanging up in her room!!!!

My living area.. This is the main one we use... We have a lounge room at the front of the house.. which is my studio and a rumpus room at the back for the kids to do what ever they like in!!!!

and the OH SO YUMMY.. new addition... CUPCAKES!!!.. and look and SMELL so yummy it takes all my will power not to eat them...lol

As much as i love living in the city.. rushing around.. all the wonderful shops to look at... there is something so beautiful and peaceful about the country... something that draws me to it... makes me re think where i live and how wonderful it would be to live out here.....

This was taken "somewhere" on the out skirts of Yarrawonga... I made Mark stop so i could take a photo...lol...

I am still going though all my holiday photos so i will share more soon... and believe it or not... i didn't take many at all.... really just wanted to enjoy myself for a change.. then worry about what photos i am going to miss out on!!..
I even feed the ducks with the kids one morning and didn't even pull my camera out of the bag...lol...enjoyed it so much more.. than standing back and watching while snapping!!!

I have got the re decorating bug again...lol.. I am looking to change some things around and i have a little list of new things i want to add...lol... Should have seen Marks face when i told him of my plans over dinner tonight...LOL... pure pain...lol....
So tomorrow i am off to look at some furniture... im thinking a new lamp table and a hall table....mmmmmm....
well keep you posted on what i get!!!

YARRAWONGA.. the BEST holiday EVER!!!

this girl (me) has been overseas 5 times.. been interstate on holidays more times than i can count...

so why is Yarrawonga the BEST Holiday i have EVER had in my whole life.....

well........

Thursday the 13Th of Sept... Mark asked me to MARRY HIM

yes you heard right.... I AM ENGAGED!!!!!!

WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

We went out for a lovely dinner with the kids and Mum..... While i was off collecting some money Mark filled Mum in on the plan.. so she head off back to the unit with the kids and Mark and i stay back to have a few drinks...
On the way home while walking along the Mulwala lake... he stopped
told me how much he loves me and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and pulls a ring out of his pocket.... i nearly died....lol...

I had seen the ring before as i had picked it out months and months ago... but didn't have a clue it was coming!!!!!

so of course i said YES

so anyway i had to share a photo of my ring with you all.... just way to excited!!!

Well as you have guessed we are back.....but i have heaps of washing and unpacking to do... just couldn't wait a second longer to share our news!!

i will leave you with one more photo.... I brought myself a Pandora bracelet while we were away... and since i was taking a photo of my ring i thought i would share my bracelet too.......

i have a bead to symbolise my engagement.. one for my baby girl (they didn't have a boy in stock)and one for my holiday to Yarrawonga.. and two clips either side!!!

Its all in the bag.....

ETA.... Tuesday 11th... off on a little family holiday tomorrow... so i will see you all in a weeks time!!...So be safe and take care everyone.. and dont have too much fun while im gone!!!....lol
ps.. Happy Birthday to Katie for today (tuesday 11th)...hope you had a great one!!!

Friday Keenan had the day off school so we boarded the train and headed into the Craft fair at Caulfield Race course.... Train you ask.. well the last time I went there (many years ago with my step Mum) we had trouble finding a car park.... this time no trouble...lol..

I had a ball.. can't really say the kids did... Keenan was bored out of his brain so i gave him $10 top spend and he brought heaps of beads... Why you ask??... well his right into the "BLING BLING"...lol...
Jorja was really good.. just had enough of sitting the the pram.. We didn't stay all day.. just a couple of hours!!..
I mainly went for the fabric.... I have set myself a goal... To make Jorja a quilt for her bed... i have always loved handmade quilts..
Walking around and looking at all the wonderful art work made me panic a bit.. Oh how am i going to pull this off...lol.. I got talking to a lovely ladie at a quilt stall and she gave me heaps of pointers to get started... I ended up buying a handbag kit from her...
At another stall i brought a Santa kit to make for my Christmas dinning table...
See i was good didn't spend hardly any money.. for a change...lol

Saturday was just a blur.. caught up on heaps of housework in the morning.. Took Keenan to golf after lunch... bit of food shopping and then home where i decided to take the plunge and start making my handbag..lol..
Well i ended up finishing her about 9pm that night... pretty proud of me.... i did STUFF UP BIG TIME the binding around the top of the bag (really bad) and i also made a bit of a HUGE mistake on the handle..lol.. but hay its my first bag..
I have decided to use it as Jorja's nappy bag etc now.. i love it....

now don't laugh ok....

Sunday we headed up to the new shop... we ended up staying most of the day.. cleaning, making new tickets i re arranged the front counter etc... just to give it our special touch..lol

Our weekend in review...lol... pretty exciting hay....

Big day in our little world!!

This week has been so much better than last weekend....thank god!!..
The shop in going well... still sorting out everything and making some changes... will take a few months to get things on track!!.. cant wait for then.. Mark has been working non stop.. so looking forward to Mark taking some time to himself...

Today Jorja and I popped into coffee morning at Paper Doll.. to say a big Hi to everyone... Wendy has just got the Cuttlebug, dies and embossing plates in.. so if you want some better get in quick... as us naughty coffee morning girls grabbed them all....lol..
After Paper Doll we headed into Frankston so i could put some money on some laybys i have and to buy Jorja a new umbrella pram (she sat in hers and it broke..lol)
While we sat down and had some KFC (yummy) for lunch i got chatting to another Mum with her little girl... and she had her EARS PIERCED... so i asked where did you go..as no one will do Jorja's for me.. So told me Essential Beauty in Frankston.. so off i ran...lol.....
So the Big news in our little world.. My little girl got her ears pierced!!!..

How cute are they...lol... Sorry about the really bad photo... Jorja didn't want a bar of me and i was also trying out my new Flash i brought a few weeks ago.. still playing around with it!!!

so my boy isn't left out.. Can you believe he came from school looking like this... all those scratches on his chin... BOYS!!!!

When i asked him how it happened his reply... "i don't remember"..lol... how could you forget something like that!!!

One of those....WEEKENDS

I properly had one of the worst weekends in a long time.. just one of those weekends where nothing went right...
Saturday afternoon.. after i had dropped Keenan of at golf i picked Mum up as we where heading to Bali in Carrum Downs... as i pulled up into the car park and had gotten out of the car i witnessed the worst car crash EVER... a car clipped another and rolled over the medium strip and onto the other side of the road... the side i was on.. i just bolted over while ringing 000...
what i saw is something i never want to see again... I was there as two guts pulled the Older man out of the drivers seat (the car was sitting on its roof)... i was there we we realised there was another person in the car...his wife...
I have never been so scared and so unsure in my life... all i really remember is screaming at the 00 man to get someone here NOW......
I have been praying for the couple ever since... as i am unsure on how they are doing

Saturday night we headed out to a party... was good to get out and have a bit of fun... The kids had a ball and my poor Mark.. was so drunk he couldn't stand up... his own fault for not eating before..
Woke up Sunday morning ready to celebrate Father's Day (happy Father's Day to all the men out there).. Mark hung over... the Kids jumping all over him with there gifts.. funny... I cooked Mark a nice hot breakfast and headed off to ring my Dad to wish him a Happy Fathers day.... He had bad news... My Nana has been put in hospital.. nothing serious she is just very run down and the Doctor has put her in for bed rest for a few days...still not a nice thing to hear.
I also received bad news on Sunday night (family news) but i am unable to share here on my public blog... very personal.. but i just wanted to make note of it for future reference.

I was gald to go to bed on Sunday night... let me tell you...

Today we are now business owners... the first day we opened the doors on our shop in Rowville... so if you live in the area pop in and say HI... the shop is located on Kellets rd Rowville....

I hope all my blogger friends have had a better weekend than i have...

Taking a break

From editing Saturday's shoot... and thought i would share some recent photos...
When we woke up Sunday morning.. we just couldn't believe the day.. how STUNNING was it... So we all piled into the car and headed down to Flinders for the day.
Mark and Keenan spent their time fishing from the Pier ( Mark's not happy.. in the first 10 mins he lost his little louver(sp?) thingy.. that cost $25..lol.. his still talking about It now).. While Jorja and i when for a nice walk along the beach and collected shells....
We headed back into town late afternoon for some yummy fish and chips for lunch.. and drove home happy with very full bellies...lol....

for some reason i am in a real black and white editing mood....

Beautiful (almost) SPRING DAY!!!

After the beauiful day here in Melbourne i just can't wait for Spring/Summer time!!
Today i had the HONNOUR of shooting (with a camera..lol) Tania< Andrew, Tom and Molli...Boy i love this family...super cute and a whole lot more!!!
And i was spoilt rotten.. Tania and Andrew gave me the most beauiful bunch of TULIPS ever... Thank Tania for remembering that Tulips are my fave flower.. and Thank you so much for the stunning flowers... i love them...
and of course you know me by now i took a photo of them....lol..

I'm such a lucky girl!!

I hope you are all having a great weekend... I have some scrapping to share maybe next week now!!.. keep you guys hanging!!

The weekend turned out to be super busy!!.. That on Saturday night i was in bed asleep by 9pm... really sad hay.. and i was in a super bad mood!!!
Sunday up nice and early.. daily housework all done.. caught up on my washing from the week.. so we all decided to jump in the car and head down to Patterson Lakes for a spot of fishing...lol.. Marks idea!!
We put Keenan's bike int he car so he could ride around the tracks, while Mark fished and i just sat back and relaxed.. Perfect end to yet another busy weekend.
We enjoyed some fish and chips for dinner and didn't leave until it was so dark we couldn't see anymore.....lol... frozen hands but happy!!!

Don't tell Mark i shared the photo of him...lol.. he will kill me!!.. I always seem to take photo of him when his eating with his mouth wide open!!!

Only a week or so left until we are business owners!!.... so scary but so exciting all at the same time!!.. The Carrum Downs shops get taken over this coming Monday.. So mark will no longer be the boss there...lol.. his a bit happy about that.. Mark will stay at Carrum Downs for a while to show the new owner how everything is done and then he will be working at our shop in Rowville!!!
We are also going away on a much needed holiday at the end of September!!.. more on that as we get closer!!

Today im going to bum around the house as the rest of my week is jam packed!!.. Need to do some stuff for the shop tomorrow..plus shopping. This weekend i have shoot in the morning a beautiful family of 4... and golf straight after.. Friends around on Sunday.. I think we are booked out every Sunday for the next month...lol...
and im also hoping to go to the Friday night crop at Paper Doll....

where has the week GONE!!!

It only feels like last night i headed out the the Paper Doll crop night.. but it was last week!!...
What happened to this week...i'm not even really sure what i have done all week...lol...

Anyway like i said went to the Paper Doll Friday night crop and only managed to do one layout...lol.. too much chatting and laughing going over there...lol
I had a ball and i cant wait to do it again... even if i don't get any scrapping done!!!
so here is my layout from the crop.. a HUGE thanks to Will who gave those beautiful butterflies to complete my layouts... Thanks heaps Will your the BEST!!!!

That is all the scrapping i have done all week...lol.. pretty slack hay.. i still haven't even unpacked my stuff from the crop...lol...
This week i also had two more layouts picked up for SC... so excited!!.. so keep your eyes out!!

before i rush off to take Keenan to golf and then a birthday party i would like to introduce you to my new little scrap friend....lol...
Lady Annie the fairy....lol.. I made her all by myself.. with the help of Mel Goodsell who was ever so kind to GIVE me the pattern of the fairy after seeing it on her blog.. Thanks so much Mel.. i really love her...

Oh yeah.. before i go i need some MAJOR help from my Blog friends... Jorja's birthday is coming up soon well November and i really want to get her a cabbage Patch Kid with the same birth date as her!!....
So next time you are in a toy shop.. any chance you could check for me and see if you can find a CPK with the birthday date Nov 8th...please pretty please.... I have been hunting for months now and have found the 7th and the 9th...grrrrr

I brought her the Dora talking Kitchen yesterday in Frankston... so excited... i have hid it at Mum's place because im scared i will give it to her early...lol...

This is going to be long....

so grab yourself a cuppa.. something to eat...lol... or in my case a nice cold glass of Coke Zero!!!

Iv'e been scrapping up a HUGE storm the last few days... All stuff for me.. no DT stuff at the moment...So i will share my creations at the end!!!

First lot of news... Our horse Flasy Dancer... is now retired...
Poor little sweet thing.. Her last race she ran (a few weeks back) she didnt pull up too well.. she has done her knee... so we decided to retire her and use her to breed with.. thats a whole other story..
But now this gives our boy a chance to show us what his got...lol.. His still un named but we hard leaning torwards Cut "n" Paste... He looks like some has put him together...lol.. His body's too big for his head and his legs are too skinny for his body...lol... But in our eyes his oh so handsome.. and he really is a good looking boy.. We headed out to the farm on Sunday to say hello and give them both a cuddle...i took some photos but need to edit them.. will share another day!!
Jorja had a ball out at the farm.. riding the pony and collecting the eggs from the chooks...lol...

Ok more news...lol... a few weeks back i posted about some BIG news in our little family....Well... umm i feel i can share now.. but the details are all still going though... so anyway...
Mark's boss Mick.. gave us a pretty good offer about two months ago.. He has given us the opportunity to buy in on a BUTCHER shop with him...!!!
This is something Mark and i have dreamed about and wanted so badly for a while now.. our own business...but it was always out of reach as butcher shops are pretty pricey.. So when Mick rang us about a shop in Rowville we JUMPED at the chance..
So you guys are looking at the new owners of Rowville Meats.. well as of the 3rd of Sept anyway..lol.. only a few weeks to go!!

This is a huge step for us... a huge risk as any business is... but a risk we are willing to take.. to give our family everything we can.. Its going to be a lot of hard work, a lot of very long hours.. but i just know we can do this.. as a family!!

So if you live in the Rowville area.. make sure you pop in and say HI.....

Onto some scrapping....lol.. i have had the best week... prize wise...lol...
I won a rak on the Arty Pants forum... Thanks Julie...very yummy a stamp and some yummy papers, ribbons, buttons... I have also been published again... not once but twice in the new issue of Scrapbook Creations... wooo hoooo... I have a project and a page in the gallery!!!

And i have finially altered my wooden letter "c".. only one more to go... was waiting for some paper that i just fell in love with...the oh so yummy BG...mmmmmm

I had the hounor of working with this beautiful kit...with fellow DT member Julie (love what you done Julie..yummy)

Out of this kit i made 3 12x12 layouts and 3 cards..using everything from the kit and just my pens, inks, stamps, glue....

and the cards.....

A little tip.. with the "Thank You" card.. i used the backing from the felt flowers (in the "bath time" layout) as a mask!!!... 2 GREAT ways to use a product!!!

The BIG day...

Yesterday was ARTY PANT"S BIG RE OPENING!!!..

and WOW pretty much sums up the new shop... It looks fantastic!!
There was heaps going on yesterday.. Some of the DT girls where doing make and takes, there where door prizes, face painting, balloons...and lots of YUMMY scrapbooking products to look at!!
And the NEW class room is HUGE!!!.. can't wait to come to a crop night ladies!!

GIANT TEA CUP!!!!

I have seen this done.. so its noway an original...but i just loved it so much that when i saw a tea cup a few months ago i had to buy one and give it a go!!!

Jorja in a tea cup... and let me tell you she was NOT happy at all... so i didn't get many photos.. but i still think this one is cute... i know mummy goggles all the way... just wanted to share.. and maybe brighten someones day with a SMILE!!!

i haven't done any scrapping at all... pretty slack.... I have still been taking a photo a day but so badly need to catch up on my book... and i also have a few other projects on the go!!
Keenan is back to golf tomorrow... he is so excited his counting the hours...lol.. i just love that he has found HIS passion..

The Green/Hatch household has some oh sooo exciting news coming soon.... I just don't want to share until all the final details have been made....

Jorja has been so sick this week with croup... My poor little angel.
been up with her most nights so both of us have had hardly any sleep.. Thank god its school holiday because i don't know i would have got Keenan to school on time.
Poor Keenan been stuck in the house all week... its just too cold to be taking Jorja out anywhere so we have been relaxing around the house watching heaps of movies!!!
Jorja has woken up today (after a long night) looking a lot better than she did on Monday.. so she is on the mend.
Like all mothers i hate seeing my baby sick.. she has been very cuddly the last few days.. its nice, but i haven't gotten anything done at all...lol...
Since i have been house bound this week i did manage to do a bit of scrapping. These pages would have to be the quickest layouts i have ever put together!!.. I pretty much just stuck everything down and hoped for the best.. normally i look, move things around, look some more, move some more etc this process can take days..lol..

so here goes...

Also if you have some time pop over to Jen Halls blog... she has been making a "everyday life" book... i LOVE it and thinking that i may start my own... Take photos and journal about the things we get up to everyday... see how i go I always say i will do this sort of stuff but never do!!!
So to get me started i took some natural photos of Keenan this morning playing with his footy cards... tried not to worry about how perfect they have to be...
so hopefully i can do my first entry tonight... might help me use up all those scraps that have been building up for years now...lol...

Lazy Sunday.....

Just another lazy Sunday in our little world.... Mark and Keenan have headed out for a quick 9 holes at golf, Jorja is down for her nap and me... well finished most of the housework and now I'm just blog surfing....lol...
Not much been going on.. Keenan has started school holidays. Grandma's funeral is been held on Wednesday.. We wont be able to fly up to say our goodbyes.. we will just have to say them from here.

Today i plan on doing some scrapping while sitting under my heater...lol.. so cold here...see very boring...lol... i dont even know what to say..lol..

so i will leave you with a couple more photos of my boy... taken the other day and i have also updated my photo blog with the shoot i had the other week... So pop over and check out how cute baby Zac is....

A Goodbye.....

Mark's Grandma passed away yesterday morning.... Joan was 93 years old... Turning 94 tomorrow. We have known for two weeks now that Grandma didn't have much longer and she passed away peacefully in her sleep
Grandma was the most beautiful lady you could ever met. I have only had the privilege of knowing her for 3 years (she lived in QLD)But boy did we have some FUN together.. She may have been 93 but she loved to have a sing, and a chat and a good laugh!!!
I remember one night she stayed at our place (in QLD) and she wanted to stay up to midnight..lol... because in the retirement home thay are always put to bed so early. So i sat up with Grandma, we got into our jammies, drank tea and chatted away until 12 o'clock. While the rest of the house slept.I will never forget what we spoke about that night.. lots of secrets shared..(wink wink)...
We will miss you so much Grandma....

Here is a photo of Grandma the last Xmas we had in QLD... b4 she started getting sick.....

It made me realise how important family is... and how STUPID fights are,they are just plain stupid and immature... I hate fighting with my brother... i miss him...i miss him alot and i can honestly say i think about him and his kiddies everyday.
I have apologized to my brother a few times now.. about what i said to my mum.. and i regret what i said.. so i have decided to make a public apology to him..
Martin i am so sorry for all the things i have said.. i was specking in anger.. which is no excuse... but i am deeply sorry if i have hurt you and i hope one day we can build a relationship again....your my brother my family and i love you...

Ok enough of that... getting a bit teary....I have been promising for a while now that i would share some layouts... i have finally taken some photos so here we go....

This first one is a layout i done for Paper Doll in Frankston (link in side bar)... When Wendy handed over these papers i thought OHHH SH%T....lol.. but i had heaps of fun playing with them... and i am so loving the color orange at the moment.....

the next two are just because layouts........

and i have been published again.. in the new FOR KEEPS which i picked up yesterday!!
And the other is my project in this months SCRAPBOOK CREATIONS!!!

Life is WONDERFUL!!!!

not sure why really... just is!!!
Back into my scrapping... i love it so much.. and i have missed it heaps... and no i have nothing to share..lol... need to take photos... will tomorrow!!!
I had another shoot last week....they turned out GREAT!!.. if i do say so myself..lol
will share when i get the OK from them!!!... can't wait to show them off!!!

Not much else hae been happening in my little world... The kids are GREAT, Mark and I are GREAT.. lately eveything just seems to be falling into place!!!
Keenan is on school holidays at the end of this week... really looking forward to hanging around the house, hanging out with the kidsand not having to rush every morning to get to school on time...lol...
And i plan on watching my 90210 second season DVD set....lol... sad i know... i picked it up yesterday while out shopping... I already have season one
Today i watched the first disk... all you oldies....(lol).. remember when Brenda and Dylan thought they where pregnant??...lol... thats what i am up to.. Brandon started working at the "BEACH CLUB".. and Dylan Dad has been arrested!!.. And David has started to make his mark on the show.. too funny... and the FASHIONS!!!... they crack me up... I used to think they where so cool and i so wanted to be Brenda growing up!!!
Hope you guys know what i am crapping on about...lol... so if you remember your 90210 days.. please shar your fave moment...lol.. go on i DARE YOU!!!!

Well I'm back....not much been going on ....just busy doing this and that and pretty much to lazy to blog!!!... Hay least I'm honest...

Keenan had his golf comp on the weekend... He done so well... He didn't get his next medal but there is always next time... He did win a prise for most improved!!!There are some photos of my little golfer down the bottom All kitted out his his NEW golf gear!!!! So cute..

Sunday we invited My cousin Mel and Corey up for a roast pork lunch... YUMMMO.. Lots of laughs, drinks and food... Love them kind of days and we were alo celebrating Mel and Corey ENGAGEMENT!!!... WOOHOOO so happy for them both and Corey is just the perfect guy for our Mel...lol...
They have already sent out their wedding invites.. Palm Cove QLD... sooo nice!! we are pricing ticket now!!! CAN"T WAIT..
And another reason why i am dying to get up to QLD is i have other family news!!!... My sweet little cousin April ( Mel's younger sister) is HAVING A BABY!!!!!!
So happy for both Apey and Gede... their little bubba is due is Nov.. cant wait!!!
( i have know for a while..lol.. since day one... but sometimes i am unsure if i should be sharing on my blog NEVER know who's reading)
I have lots of other little things that have happened over the last few months but like above i will share when i feel ready... as i don't know who pops in!!!

This is so not me.... two posts in one day!!!....I just wanted to pop back in a share some layouts that i have done over the last week or so!!!

My Princess.... using new Jenni Bowlin from her May pack... YUMMMMMMMMO...

My DT Stuff for Arty Pants... and finially a photo fo our new house!!!... I think i said ages ago i would post pics and never did... slack hay!!!!

My news..... I entered the Scrapbook Creations Color Comp last month... today i got my layout back with a thanks but no thanks kind of letter... Oh well... there is always next time.... Here is the layout......

Anyway upon inpecting the pizza box i noticed that one of my layouts didnt get returned.... I just knew it was LOST....
So i emailed the lovely ladies at Scrapbook Creations... which they answered right away..... I AM A FINALIST!!!!.... YEAH so excited... My second layout made the top 30 finalist list and was taken to Brisbane for the BIG announcement over the weekend!!!!.... Can't believe it!!!!
So here its is...

Yes, sorry to say that Flashy Dancer didnt win her race yesterday... she ran second last!!!!..... :)
We knew about 5 mins b4 the race that she wouldnt run well... the track was a Heavy 8 and she was coming out of barrier 1... worst part of the track.... Flashy doesn't
run well in the wet!!... Oh well it was still so exciting seeing her on TV... her name on TV... her name in the Paper... and in a racing mag on Friday all our names where in there...lol... OWNERS!!!... so exciting!!!
Keenan and i SCREAMED at the TV "GO FLASHY GO" we even woke Jorja up....
Flashy jumped started out in front... lead the pack around the bend... and then on the straight she just STOPPED... the jockey not sure why.. he just she she didnt like the track at all!!!
But we dont care we still love her!! and now it time to focus on her next race... hopefully in a couple of weeks... keep you posted!!!

**NEWS FLASH

Our horse FLASHY DANCER!!.. is running in her first race TOMORROW!!!!.... we are so excited!!......Now this is the very firt photo i took of her 3 months ago... belevie me she had changed so much!!... wish i had a photo to share...it just seems everytime we go to the stables i dont have my camera with me!!... We are going to try and head out today and see her....

So do i hear you say you would like some race details...lol....Well she is racing a Camperdown VIC.... race 3 no. 10... FLASHY DANCER!!!!!....

Mark is heading out the the BIG race tomorrow with all the boys... they have hired a bus with BEER..lol... So the kids and i will watch it on foxtel tomorrow and YES i am putting some money on her!!!

Life is just so full on at the moment its just flying by... i think i need to slow down just a bit... and take a breath!!!

So excited... so is Keenan...popped into the newsagent to pick up the new For Keeps and what i do see...
The new "Scrapbooking Basics" no.1.. and i am in it!!!...
I was jumping up and down on the spot...lol... Finally im in print!!!.. ( the first of many.. so keep your eyes out)
So my little man is famous!!...lol.. we had to show everyone at the shop lol.....

and in other fantastic news... I got an email from Scrapbook Creations yesterday and they want to use one of my layouts for there display at the "Scrapbook and Paper Convention" in Brisbane June this year... so excited about that.. so any Brisbane girls out there.. please check it out for me... ( maybe even take a photo for me...lol)
So thats my huge news... but there is still lots more to come.. i just cant share just yet...lol...

WOW... what a fantastic, fun, exhausting, crazy Holiday....lol
I have fallen in love with the Sydney Harbour Bridge... its just beautiful.. i took so many photos of it from all different angles...lol...
The kids had a ball.... heaps to share
And we finally got to catch up with our friends Bruce and Shelley... it was so great to see them again..

Keenan was part of a street performer's act...lol... more on that later and of course photos...
But today i am super busy.. my Mum is moving house today so i am about to head out and give her a hand

Happy Mothers Day... (for yesterday)

Hope you all had a wonderful mothers day...mine was just right... perfect...
Mark took us down to Carrum Beach... My Mum too.. and had the best fish and chips i have had in ages... yummmmo.... Jorja finally moved on the sand...lol... instead of being frozen... She was running around like a crazy girl!! So happy she is starting to like the beach more!!!
The only huge downer of the day.... PARKING TICKET!!!... not nice.. and on Mothers day too!!!!!
That was pretty much it.... PERFECT!!!.....

So we are off in a couple of days so i wont be back before we go.. So i wish you all a FANTASTIC week and be safe!!!

Hi all... been so long since i checked out blog land.... everything has just been super crazy since my birthday... which i had a GREAT day with friends and got heaps of YUMMY pressies......Mark got me a stunning pair of earrings and the biggest surprise is yet to come......

Proud MUM here.....

Keenan had a Golf challenge yesterday at his golf course... A skill test...Held by the Junior PGA.
All ages groups could enter and Eric Keenan's coach thought it would be a good idea for Keenan to give it a go!...
Keenan is a LOT smaller than most kids his age and a hell of a lot smaller than his peers in his Golf class... So Keenan has always lacked that confidence... For the past year he has been playing golf he has had to watch all the "big" kids hit the ball a lot further than he can... and he has has a lot of trouble understanding why he cant hit like them!!
Keenan is the youngest in his Saturday golf class by 3 years.... anyway... The skills test!!...
I was so proud of him...he played so well... He gave it his BEST shot.. hit all the best shots he could and he was the only 8 year old there! He hit a score of 11 /50.. which gave my boy a bronze medal... I am so proud of him.....i had tears in my eyes as Eric congratulated him on a job well done.. and other parents... parents i have never met or seen before coming up to him and telling him what a great job he done and how his a GREAT little golfer... The smile on Keenan's face was priceless... a smile that i will never forget and that will stay with me for ever.
Now i didn't take my camera.. so no photos... but i don't need any i will never forget this moment... The look of confidence in his eyes... the pure HAPPINESS.....
Keenan may never be the next Tiger Woods... but i don't care... i just want him to be happy, to have fun... to enjoy this wonderful sport... I am so proud of you Keenan so proud of the little man you are.
Sorry to ramble on... but i just wanted to record this moment... maybe my first non-photo scrapbook page.....thanks for listening..... :)

Been super busy the last day or two...lol......

Not much scrapping being done at the moment... but heaps of photo taking....lol...

I'm really starting to enjoy it again.....

I was right in to photography years ago... Took thousands of photos of Keenan.. you would die if you saw all my negatives....lol... When i went back to work.. i was taking photos and printing photos all day long.... kind of got sick of it i guess... and taking photos to "suit" my employer at the time was not fun.... i couldn't be creative.. i "had" to stick to their way of doing it... boring...

But since i brought my new camera.. i have found my true love again..... i just can;t stop playing with my camera and mucking around with photo shop into the wee small hours...

so im sorry if i have been boring you guys with photos after photos.... i just cant help myself...lol...

So anyway... i headed out to Paper Doll on Anzac Day for a crop... SUPER FUN!!!.. i had a ball.. and a much needed break from the kiddies ( if you know what i mean.. wink wink)..

I was so proud of ME.. i finished TWO layouts!!!......

The other day I took Keenan for a hair cut... he asked for a MOHAWK!!!...lol... i just had to scrap these photos straight away... too cute my boy!!!!

Been doing some other scrapping but i just not allowed to share YET!!!!

Today i had another shoot... a really good friend of mine and her beautiful kids...

I;m still proofing the photos so i will share soon.......over the weekend.....

Keenan went back to school all good... I think is happy to be back as he can see all his mates again... Jorja is missing him like CRAZY!!! and cries most mornings when we drop him off!!!!

Me... not much has been going on.. I had a Kim Archer class to take today... but didn't make a start on my layout.. will start hopefully tonight!!!

I have also been scrapping ofcourse... but cant share anything just yet!!!!

Yesterday...

was my blogs 1st anniversary.... and i missed it...lol... oh well

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!!....

I still can't believe that i have kept my blog up for a year now!!.. and so many people laughed at me for starting my little world and now look.. most of them have their own...lol....

School holidays are nearly over here in Vic.... thank god!! Keenan is driving me CRAZY!!!... Yesterday he had his golf day at golf... he loves to go!!.. Golfing all day long... BBQ lunch... and me... i love them too..... peace and quite!!!

But back to it on Monday... and i will miss him when he goes back i always do!!...

Today we went shopping in Frankston..... had some money burning a hole in my pocket...lol...

I brought the most gorgeous stunning tea pot and cup and saucer set for my kitchen hutch.. i just love it!!!....shhhhhhh about the price tag...lol... nah it wasn't too bad really... i also fitted out Jorja with some new clothes... like she needs them.. a new pair of jeans, a new denim skirt to go with her new pink boots that i got last week and a couple of jumpers and tops... too cute!! and i also got Mark some new jumpers for winter... and that was it really!!!

I had a wonder around lindcraft checking out some material and things.. as i have the sewing bug again... but didn't find what i wanted... so off to spotlight next week!!!

That's pretty much been my day!!... exciting hay.. i will share a couple of layouts i have done the last few days... and yes Wendy even a card...lol... Wendy from Paper Doll.. make the most stunning cards from scraps and things that i decided to copy her and start doing my own....Thanks Wendy!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

After a late night entertaining friends.... I got up really early so i could "PLAY" Easter Bunny!!....

Lucky I did as the kids woke up early for a change....

So ... the hunt was on....lol... Jorja had a ball.... i couldnt believe it but she was looking for eggs and placing them into her basket as she found them... i honestly didnt think she would take part...lol.... But with Keenan's help she got the hang of it pretty quick.....

Then it was onto eating chocolate for brekky...lol.......YUM!!!!

We also got the kids a Budgie each....lol... Joja loves birds, she sits out on the patio for ages watching all the birds and talking to them, so we decided to get them one each for Easter...

So please met... Dora and Shadow!!!!... (dora is Jorja' bird and shadow is Keenan')

Keenan went with my Mum today to see her family... so Mark, Jorja and I hung around, eating chocolate, napping (lol)... I also took about 200 photos today playing around with the settings on my camera!!... It was a fun and such a LAZY day... just what we all needed!!!..

I hope you all had a GREAT EASTER..... dont eat to much chocolate tonight....lol...

Happy Easter to everyone!!!....

I hope you are all having a great long weekend.....

Yesterday in Melbourne they held the GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL!! to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital... as you may remember i made a post here a few months ago about sponsorship for a friend of mine Mel Millar...... RUN FOR RANI!!!

Well i happy to tell you all that Mel and her family raised a grand total of $4480.00.

how unreal is that!!... That total combined the sponsorship money for Mel's brother Steven to run the fun run, raffle money, and money that SCRAPBOOKING 4 LESS raised... well done everyone and thanks to everyone to helped out!!!

Yesterday while watching the Hospital appeal.... we had some friends over for a beautiful seafood lunch/ dinner... YUMMMMO..
Fresh fish, prawns, cray... fresh salads and rolls.... I'm still full....lol...

I have been busy doing lots of secret scrapping...lol... sorry cant tell yet
and i also still have the sewing bug... so i came across a blog Fiona Carter and she had sewn together the cutest bunnies... so using her links i found a pattern and gave them a go...lol..
Now Mark thinks they look evil..... but hay there is word on the street that i am..lol..
Well i think they look a little strange... a little ugly and a little cute in rolled into one cute bunny...lol..... and remembering... my first go!!!!

LOL........... funny hay....

Well i will leave you with my DT stuff for Scrapbooking 4 Less this month... (thats if you have finished rolling the floor laughing at my bunnies)

I am so inspired....

from the FREE mag we got with For Keeps this month... I Can Make It Myself!!......

that i decided to make a pillow...lol.....

Now i am NOT a sewer...lol.... the most i have ever done is a Happy Jacket in high school... which was very sad and sewing on my layouts!!!....

So yesterday i sat down and watched "Simply Quilts" on the How to Channel to get some tips!!!

This morning i was up nice and early and decided to give it a go....

And i must say i am sooooo proud of myself!!!... check out my very first pillow!!!... Made for Jorja's room!!!.....now dont laugh... :)

Very simple.. i know... but its my first go... so tell me what you think!!!!

I have been busy catching up with all my scrapping deadlines... and i just made my Scrapbooking 4 Less DT deadline by a couple of hours.... BOY!!!...
