I am so inspired....

from the FREE mag we got with For Keeps this month... I Can Make It Myself!!......

that i decided to make a pillow...lol.....

Now i am NOT a sewer...lol.... the most i have ever done is a Happy Jacket in high school... which was very sad and sewing on my layouts!!!....

So yesterday i sat down and watched "Simply Quilts" on the How to Channel to get some tips!!!

This morning i was up nice and early and decided to give it a go....

And i must say i am sooooo proud of myself!!!... check out my very first pillow!!!... Made for Jorja's room!!!.....now dont laugh... :)

Very simple.. i know... but its my first go... so tell me what you think!!!!

I have been busy catching up with all my scrapping deadlines... and i just made my Scrapbooking 4 Less DT deadline by a couple of hours.... BOY!!!...

So i cant share much scrapping wise today...

A few weeks ago Wendy from Paper Doll started a little tag swap on her blog.... such a great idea... Yesterday in the mail i received the most STUNNING tags from Kim... my god they a beautiful.... Thanks so much Kim and thanks Wendy for organising this little swap!!!

I have yet to take a photo so i will share next time.. along with my tag i sent out!!!!

So all i can share is one layout with you today... This one i whipped up one night while Mark's Mum was here... i was really hanging for a scrapping fix!!!...

OHHH Where have i been....

Playing tour guide!!!!....lol....

Sorry its been another week since i blogged... My in- laws are still here and we have been having a BALL!!!.....

I am so worn out its not funny... and i think i have put on 10kgs in the past week from eating out at all the yummy cafes we have found on our travels....lol......

But more on that stuff later... i have heaps of photos to share.....

But im here to share some BIG news!!!!!... well it is to us anyway...lol... ( and no im NOT pregnant...lol).....

Well Mark, my sweet man... has been wanting to buy into a race horse for many years now... he just loves everything about racing, horses, etc....

so....

Last Friday.... we brought a share in a race horse!!!.... so excited... but thats not all....lol...
we also brought a share in another race horse...lol... so we own TWO...lol..

We brought in with 4 other people... really good friends of ours... one of which is a trainer and the other is a former Jockey!!!!

So with out further a do....... here are the NEW members of our family...lol... and im am already so in love with my babies....

First is " Flashy Dancer"... she has run only a couple of races... coming third place in one of those.... She doesnt have a stable name as yet... i know ...but we have been calling her "HORSE"... sad hay....lol....

And like me she hates having her picture taken... this is the best one i have so far....lol...

and next i would like you all to met... the baby...our BIG boy....

Who doesnt have a name yet!!!...lol.... But his stable name is "SULLY" ( as of yesterday anyway). Sully is only 3 years old and he is such a BIG boy.... He has never had a run as yet but is fully trained.. and oh soo sweet!!!

Cant wait until we all sit down and pick his racing name!!!....

So there you go my new babies....lol....

We are hoping to have Horse racing in about 12 weeks time... so i will keep you posted!!!!

I'm Back!!!

Hay bloggers... I'm back!!!...lol... after huge problems with telstra i finally have the Internet on!!!
WOOO HOOOO... I have so missed blog land...lol... i have heaps of catching up to do!!!


Well the move went GREAT!! and i am so in love with my new house and furniture!!!....
Still heaps of unpacking to do but i will get to it slowly...lol.....
I will share some photos of my house soon i promise!!!

Today Mark's Mum and sister arrive from QLD for a little Holiday... I'm pretty excited about this little trip!!

I have done some scrapping .. yes i have... a few pages where done b4 the move!! and i have done one since the move!!! so pretty happy with myself!!!

Good-Bye.... (4 now)

Just thought i would pop by and say Good-bye!!!.....
We take settlement on the new place this Tuesday... so god only knows when i will be back on line again!!

Today we spent the morning loading up TWO trailers of all our stuff... ready to take over on Tuesday morning... all my scrapbooking stuff in on there....booo hoooo!!

And today my plan is to finish of some of the kitchen and to pack up the computers!!!
We are trying to get all the Boxes and little stuff over this week so then on Sunday we only have the furniture to move!!.... And stupid us are having a little BBQ on Sunday to thank everyone for helping out... but i just keep on inviting people to drop by....lol... so its kind of turned into a party...lol... oh well it s all in FUN!!!...
I have my family coming up from Rosebud and a few friends as well!!!!

Then on Wednesday the 21st Marks Mum and sister are here from QLD for a week and a bit!!
So hopefully i can have most of the house step up before they arrive!!...
We also realised today we don't have a spare bed!!...lol.... so at some point this week i have to go out and buy a bed!!!

so bid you all farewell!!!... i hope you all look after yourselves and i hope i don't miss out on too much in blog land...lol...

Finally Sharing!!!!

Hello blogger friends it been a few days but boy have i been super busy!!!! First I had my first ever job taking photos on Saturday night... I am so excited!!... I took photos at a joint 60th birthday party... What a great night and i am so happy with how my shots have turned out!!... I was so worried about the whole lighting thing but all is good!!

I haven't had a chance to edit my photos yet so i will share very soon!!!!

Then on Sunday we all piled into the car and head out to do some much needed furniture shopping...lol... A lot of you may not know we have been living without a dining table for 12 months now and we also wanted to get a new low line tv unit for the new TV.......

We ended up getting...lol.... the tv unit, square dining table ( which i just love), a Kitchen hutch thingy and a matching coffee table ( one of those box ones with the drawers).... Yes we went a little over what we wanted to spend by hay now we have a house full of furniture!!!!....

Well not yet its all getting delivered to the new place next Tuesday!!!

Specking of that... only one week ( to the day) when we settle!!!!... and still haven't finished my packing....lol... but i will do it!!!

Tomorrow we do the finial inspection and we are also taking the painter in so he can give us a quote.. he is going to paint next Wednesday!!!... busy busy busy let me tell you!!!

I m going to do feature walls in the living areas, Keenans room and Jorja's room and one in our bedroom. I went to bunnings yesterday and picked out all my colors!!..... will share photos when its all done... The painter is also covering up this very very ugly RED wall in the kitchen... not nice at all!!!!

We wont be "moving" in next Tuesday, we are going to take the week to slowly get in as Mark is at work all week, So Dad is coming up on Sunday (next) to move all the big stuff!!!

We dont have to be out of our rental until the 20th.. so heaps off time to move everything over ( i hope)

Today i went and finished off all the boring bank stuff... thank god that's over with!!!

An i'm trying to get a bit of play time in with my cuttle bug b4 i have to pack it all up... :(

So i will leave you with that i have bored you all enough with my moving crap!!....

an the next was using a pack from Paper Doll.... using those products ONLY!!!... i found this one very hard!!!!... but i love how it turned out!!!

DIRTY WEEKEND...(wink)

Well this past weekend we finally went to the Crown Casino!!... after not being able to book in, and find the right weekend for my Mum to babysit we finally made it....

AND WHAT A NIGHT!!!!

We left about lunch time on Saturday and picked up Mick and Nicole on the way ( Mark's Boss)!

We stayed at the crown Promenade which is the sister hotel to Crown Towers!!!

and all i can say is WOW.... Valet packing... which i think is very cool... bell boys...lol...and our room was stunning! A bit on the small side but really really nice!!

As soon as we checked in we cracked open the drinks..lol... Better make the most of this!!

By the time we headed over to Crown for dinner we all where pretty much gone..lol

Nicole and I tryed a few cocktails.... so yummy and had the most YUMMY dinner i have ever had!!.. Well so it should be it cost an arm and a leg...lol..... (thank god the boss was paying...lol)

Then it was time to hit the tables!!! Mark and i had saved up some money that we where happy to lose! Well Mark lost most of it in the first two hours...lol.... so we where going pretty bad!

I had $100 left so we hit the Roulette table and within a few hours we WON it all back.. so pretty happy about that!

We drank, we chatted, we mucked around we had a BALL!!! I wish it never ended... But i missed my little kiddies so very much!! This was my first night away from Jorja, and yes i did ring and check up a few times...lol... But she was having heaps of fun with Nanny!!!

some time in the early morning we headed back up to our hotel room...... and i will leave it there...lol...... but here is a photo off the view from our room.... Just beautiful!!!

Next morning we got up about 9am and went down to have the best brekky ive ever had... you name it they had it!!!..

It took Mark and I all day Sunday to recover from Saturday night and most of Monday...lol... Not used to being a party animal anymore... But now its back to reality!!...lol..

Back to all the moving and packing and house stuff!!!

Today we are off the the bank to sign everything and do all that boring bank stuff and then we might do a bit of furniture shopping!! See how the time goes first!!

Only 2 weeks to go!!!

In scrapping news.....

I have been offered a place on the PAPER DOLL DT... SO EXCITED!!!!!... Thanks so much Wendy for giving me this chance and really looking forward to working with you!!!

I forgot to take photos off the DT stuff and its already at the shop!!!

Another Family birthday!!!

This is just a quick post to say a huge

And today Mum and I went on a little shopping trip... and for once i didn't buy ANYTHING...lol.....
Trying to save some dollars for our BIG weekend away this week... can't wait!!!

oh yeah forgot to say... we finally brought a new TV.... so excited... flat wide screen LCD!!... and it sooo yummmy... we set it up and watched it for a few minutes and then put in back in the box...lol... No point setting it here since we are moving in a couple of weeks!!!!

Well i will start off by saying a VERY HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to my darling little niece Jordyn!!
I wont get to see my only niece on her birthday (very sad- family issues), but i miss her so much... I miss getting to know her and i miss that she will never know her cousins!!

Happy birthday sweet girl!!!!



My best friend Tania... gave birth to her second child last Thursday!!.. so very exciting!!

A beautiful little girl... Molli Bree.. and she is a sweet angel!!!

I went in and met Molli last Friday and took some photos of course....





so a big congrats to Tania Andrew and Tom (his a big brother now... too cute)!!

I still haven't done any packing or scrapping...lol.... but i have manged to book a family trip away to Sydney in May... only for 3 days... but happy to be going away some where..lol..
I got the travel bug after that booking so two days late i booked a trip for Marks Mum and younger sister to come down to Melb from Qld for a week!!... Very excited about this... they haven't seen Jorja for a year now!!... Pam and Lauren get here on the 21st of March... they day after we move...lol.... call me crazy but i don't care it will be great to see them both!!

Big family week this week.... Marks Dad and step Mum lyn... came up and stayed with us from Tassie!!!... They had both never met Jorja or Keenan and i had only every met them once about 5 years ago... so it was great to catch up...Both kids loved Frank... such a playful man...lol...
We went out for a lovely dinner last night... had a few drinks... it was great...
When i got up this morning thay had both gone...lol.....they are back off to Tassie today!!!

So that pretty much all that's been happening the past week!!... Today im off to get my hair cut, SO again no packing as this weekend we are off to the Casino for the night!!!... really looking forward to that!!!

LOOKIE WHAT I GOT!!!

I couldn't believe it... Mark has NEVER been one to celebrate Valentine's Day... A big waste of money he always says....


But yesterday about 10:30am there was a knock at the door.. and i was on the toliet..lol....and there was a lady holding a BIG bunch of roses just for me!!!.. i nearly fell over!!!


Don't i have just the best MAN!!!!





They are soooo beautiful.. can't stop looking at them..lol...and i have taken about 20 photos of them to remember, as i really don't think this will happen again...lol...

Well my week has been pretty sucky... (apart from yesterday morning).. On the weekend our back fences fell over... so now i have the next door neighbours dog popping over for a visit all day long... Nice dog!!.. but I'm just worried he may get out off our front gate!!

Then yesterday the lawnmower man came to mow the lawns... he didn't have the catcher on and Mark and i both said its a bit strange!!... then right then as he went past the lounge window a rock came flying up and smashed the bottom window... NOT HAPPY.. the landlord is coming tomorrow to look at the fence and that's all we needed... away to cut a long story short the lawnmower man thinks he didn't do it and wont pay for a new window... not even HALF!!!

So we sacked him.. and didn't pay for yesterdays job!!!....So this morning i rang around and its going to cost us $200 to get the window replaced!!!.... so NOT HAPPY!!!!
So that's what I'm doing now waiting for the window man to get here!!!

I still haven't done any more packing or have i done any scrapping!!!

So that's my week so far...lol... nothing major but pretty sucky!!!
I cant WAIT to get out of this house!!!!....

Layout Share

Not much been happening around here... i have been scrapping when i should be packing....lol....i really just cant get into it..... even the excitement of new house cant get me going....

Keenan is loving school so much... he is even doing his homework every night without a fight!!...

Jorja is speaking more and more everyday.... She is so funny sometimes, that i find myself just sitting there watching her laughing away at her funny ways.... She is right into dancing at the moment any kind of music .....she dances...lol... But when "don't feel like dancing" comes on... she goes "CRAZY"...lol.... swinging her hips, shaking her butt, and bopping away....I just love it.

These are the times i wish i had a video camera!!!

Her favourite word is "daddy"... Jorja is daddy's little girl that's for sure... But she can also say..."MUM", "Whats that", "Seeya", "ta", "yeah" and i pretty sure she has started saying "up", but this has only happened the last few days!!....

Boy they grow way to fast!!!

Well.. that's it from me... My beautiful blue eyed Angel has just woken from her nap!

Moving....

Well its official WE ARE MOVING!!!....AGAIN... i have already starting packing...again.. i only done this 12months ago pretty much to the day!! It is so not fun!!!!

We got notice to vacate about a month ago.. The owners want to move in... we have about 30 days left!!!.. So bring on the boxes.... bring on the cleaning...( im cheating and getting a cleaner in..lol).. bring on the trailer's...The question is where are we going??.....A lovely house in Skye!!!

So please send me all your moving wishes as i am going to need it!!!...

Done heaps of scrapping.. still cant share... sorry.. All DT stuff... trying to get everything out of the way so i can pack up my scrapbooking stuff.... now that will be a sad sad day!!!!

My dear friend Mel Millar is raising money for the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, in honor of her beautiful sweet "princess" Rani. Rani passed away September 1st last year. 1 year old.

All monies raised will go to the Liver dept for research into her disease.

Back to School...

Ok i know... it was last week... but i have been too lazy to post!!!...sorry...

So his my boy already for school!!... His in 3/4 this year and loving it!!!Loves his new teacher and has made heaps of new friends already.. and YES i have been keeping up with healthy lunches!!!!.....I'm such a good girl....

Keenan is back to school tomorrow!!!.. the big guys in year 3.... I have finished covering all is books in spiderman contact..lol... pre-washed all his uniform and even got him a pair of "GLOBES"... He is pretty excited as his foot has grown enough over summer to get a pair!!... They start at size 1...

Been pretty busy with my scrapping... but i can't share any off it with you YET!!... sorry..

TODAY......

MY BOY TURNED 8!!!!!!.......

My baby boy... who is not a baby anymore... so grown up!!!

On Sunday, we had a little family BBQ for him... great day...love just sitting back and having a good old chat...lol....

Keenan had a ball and got spoilt rotten....

He got... two new golf clubs.. a driver and a 5 iron...

books, air hockey game, lots and lots of money... (too much if you ask me), quicksilver wallet..

off Mark and I.. he got

a Ipod, a few cd's, quicksilver clothes ( the only brand he will wear.. i have created a monster..lol), a quicksilver hat and new pencil case, a surf necklace.

and there are still more presents to come!!

Keenan also shares his birthday with his great Nan.. so Happy Birthday to Nan!!! who turned 75 today!!.....

Today Keenan and i just hang out trying to work out this whole Ipod stuff.... finally got it going tonight and HEAPS of help from Peter!!...Thanks Peter....

Beach Fun...NOT!!!!

On Wednesday.. Mark and I took the kids down to Carrum beach for some fish and chip and a bit of swimming... This is Jorja's second time at the beach... First time so hated it..lol... and this time... well... She hated every SECOND of it..lol... My baby girl is NOT a beach babe that's for sure....

I only got a couple of shoots.. as she only walked on the sand for a few minutes and a a very very quick dip..lol...

Keenan had a ball.... he just loves jumping in the waves!!!!

This Monday.. My baby boy turns 8.... where does the time go.. i cant believe i have a 8 year old!!!!.... We were going to have a bowling party for him ...but earlier in the week Marks weekend staff member QUIT on us so Mark was going to have to work on Sundays again....

But luck came our way on Thursday.. an old staff member...whom left to have a baby.. wanted some weekend work...YIPPEEE...so now we have a Sunday girl.. So late Thursday i organized a BBQ with Family for Keenan's birthday on Sunday!!!.. not a bowling party but his happy...

Keenan also shares his birthday with his Great Nanna!!... So should be a nice afternoon!!!

Been pretty busy in the scrapping department this week.... A lot of things i cant share yet and being trying to get all my deadlines out the way so i can scrap lots more...lol.....

so i can only share one layout with you today!!!...

I have made the BIG decision that I'm Not going to go to Kiwi Scraps in April....boooo hooooo...

I just cant justify it right now!!.. We got notice to vacate the other day.. and we are also already going to Sydney in May... so moving...new house.. trip to Sydney!!!.. Mark keeps telling me to go.. it will all work out.. but Ive got the guilt's bad.. so i will wait until the next one in August... things will be heaps better then!!!!...

So all you girls going.. I hope you have a BALL!!!.. and so wish i could get there!!!!

Two more layouts got picked up this weeks!!!...WOOOHOOOO... sorry but im sooo excited!!!

Thats four layouts in a little over a week!!... well sorry... 3 layouts and one Off the page!!!!

One layout i posted here in my last post got picked up so i had to remove it.

Sorry to brag but just very happy!!!!!

And my boss at Arty Pants got her first layout picked up this week too... so CONGRATS Jodie!!!!

Anyway Toot over!!!.... I have been super busy this week.. The house stuff is coming along well... more on that later when i have final details!!... But it looks like we will be getting another rental... not too happy about moving and then moving again... but them the breaks!!!...

And not sure if you read a couple of posts back.. But Marks boss is shouting us a night out to Crown, dinner etc for a night!!... Well we are all booked in... Feb 3rd... cant wait to have some Mark and me time!!!!.. My mum is coming up to spend the night with the kiddies... This will be my first night away from Jorja!.. I hope i cope alright!!!

This weekend was pretty quite... which is what i like!

Excited!!!

I have been so busy since my last post... its not fun!!!... We have started the BIG job of house hunting!!! it's only been a few days and i am already over it!!... First we where going to buy... so i spent Friday and Saturday going though houses.... none i liked... so now we have decided to build!!!... so now I'm picking out a block and a new house to build... i hoping it have it all done by this weekend!!!..... hope anyway!!! But building means we will have to sign another lease and our current house the owners want to move in when our lease is up in March... so moving again!!!


i will keep you posted!!!


But i did manage to do some scrapping over the weekend!!!!

Photo Shoot....

The other day i put my kids though YET another photo shoot!!... Keenan didn't want a bar of it.. so i only got one really good one of him!!... Jorja was happy to pose..lol...

So hear goes.. two kids, a chair, bubbles, a couch from inside and a bucket.......lol..

New Year ...New Look... (sort of..)

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I have decided to start this year a fresh!!... No more crap... and No more putting up with crap!!!
My family comes first... no more playing nice to keep other people happy.. and if i lose family members along the way... THEIR LOSS!!!
I have played NICE for too many years now.. put up with TOO MANY lies...no more...
Fresh start!!

So to start with i decided to update my blog...a new look...
Well i have stuffed up BIG time...lol.....

Jorja is NOW walking!!!!!!....so excited!!!
We had a bit of a funny start... taking a couple of steps here and there over the last month but the other night she just took off.... so cute!!!!

And also would like to send a BIG hello to my Auntie Vicki and Uncle Trev... whom are down from Qld on a holiday!!!... It was GREAT to catch up last night... Thanks Mel and Corey for putting a such a YUMMY dinner!!!!
