PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

WOW... What a weekend! And what a FANTASTIC weekend.... Busy too... Saturday I was running around like a mad woman... Putting the final touches on the party, picking up the cake, the balloons and Keenan's golf... I was stuffed when I finally got home!... But then we where off to a party in Mornington.. My friend Jaki's birthday!!.. That was a GREAT night and the food... WOW!!!.. We had a early one so we could be fresh for Jorja's party on Sunday!!!
Sunday.. I don't know how I got through the day... My Mum and friends Nic and Kylie where my life savers!!!!.. I wouldn't been able to do it all with out them!... We woke on Sunday morning to RAIN!! I was nearly in tears.... As I had a jumping castle booked for the day! With 20 kids coming I needed something to entertain them!.. Mr Jumping Castle man ( don't know his name LOL) showed up around 9 am and set the castle up in the rain... But he put a cover over the top so the kids could still Jump!!
After that.. CRAZY... Setting up.. Getting showered dressed (all three of them and me!) .. But we done it!!!! And the day turned out PERFECT.... The sun was out!!! It even got a little hot!! The kids where sweating in the castle as it had the cover on so I pulled out some water balloons.... And the fun began... Even the grown ups got in the action!!!
Everyone I invited showed up!!.. ( well nearly!!.. My brother and his kids couldn't make it.. Bit sad :( ...) so I had 33 adults and 20 kids.. Ageing from newborn to 16...WOW is all I can say.. And most off them are BOYS!!!... But they all had a ball on the castle!!!!
Jorja had a WONDERFUL day..... And she was spoilt rotten.. So many presents!!!!
Jorja had heaps of fun jumping in the caslte and then playing with all the other kids... Crawling after them...LOL....And she got so many cuddles and kisses from everyone!!!
she done really well..... She stayed up all day not wanting to have a nap just in case she missed out on something!! But by 8:30pm she was out like a light!!!
Keenan... I didn't see much of Keenan during the day... He was having to much fun to hang out with Mum...LOL...
All I can say is what a great day!... I even got to have a little drink!.. And for those of you who know me I even wore a DRESS...LOL...

Today is my baby Girls 1st birthday!!!!

Can you believe it... My sweet baby is now 1... How fast has this year gone... I still remember every detail that happened on this same day last year!.. Mark and I went down memory lane before he went to work this morning (very early!!!)
I am not sad ...I hope I don't sound sad.. It just amazing just how fast they do grow.. And I thank god that I am able to stay home with my kiddies so I don't miss a thing!!!!
Jorja doesn't have a clue what today is.. But Keenan and I have been singing happy birthday to her all morning...LOL.. And she just claps along with us.....
So today's post is all about my princess!!!!........( I have heaps to share maybe tomorrow!!)

Tonight we are going to have a little celebration just the four off us and then on Sunday is ..............Jorja's big party!!! I cant wait... Still so much to do but I LOVE doing it!!!!

Hello everyone!!.... Life has been pretty boring the last few days... Not getting any sleep..Cause poor Jorja is up all night .. She sick.. Got chicken pox and has a third tooth coming though!!!.. My poor little baby!!!.. Her chicken pox is only very mild...All her spots have stayed on her belly and back.. But that means she may get them again!!!!... Keenan is still spot free.. Thank god!!!
Any way.. Been scrapping a fair bit... So here goes!!!....

Paperific!!!

Done the big trip into the city yesterday.....Paperific was great.. Heaps of stuff to buy but I didn't get to spend much or see much.. Very hard with all those ladies pushing there way in and me with a pram with no chance what's so ever..... They didn't cater for prams so I don't take your kids...LOL I had a
lovely day with Jodie from Arty Pants.. And the kids just get along so well... Keenan played up a little bit but they where pretty good!!!.. Jodie and I spent more time in the trade bit... Now that part was fun... Hardly any people and heaps more relaxing!!!

The best part of my day.... Meeting Mel and her hubby John.... It was so great to catch up Mel....Hope we can get together again soon!!!!!!

After a bit of trouble getting back to the train station...LOL JODIE.... We made it home safe and sound... Jorja had a bottle and a little nanna nap and woke up around 6:30... Went off to change her bum and my god... SPOTS.... Red spots all over her belly... Rush off to the doc's and yes you guessed it my baby has Chicken pox...... Not fair and so close to her birthday too.... The doc has told me that she should be germ free for her party.. I just hope most of the spots have gone...
They are mainly on her belly and her back....
So now I am house bound for at least a week.. And just hope and pray that Keenan doesn't get them too...
We are meant t o be going to a super hero birthday party tomorrow but cant now and Keenan is a little upset.. He has been counting down the days.. He was going as a MIB.. (men in black..LOL)

that's all from me... I plan on doing heaps of scrapping this week now im home...LOL......

Post Number 50!!!!

WOW.. 50 posts already... Pretty proud of myself.. I didn't think I would keep my blog up for this long...lol... Lets see if I make it to 100..

now... Not much to report.... Just the usual stuff shopping, kiddies and scrapping...LOL.. And heaps of housework. Please tell me where all the washing comes from.. All I do is washing iron fold... LOL.. And my god I have yet another pile of odd socks. Where in gods name to they go!!!
I m off to Paperific in Melbourne tomorrow. Can't wait. Catching the train in with both kids... Crazy hay.. But I've got a full purse and im ready to spend!!!!

Here are a couple of photos of my beautiful little kiddies... Keenan at golf lessons the other week.. He is getting so much better as each lesson goes by. He brought himself another club the other week... A 7 iron.. We gave him $2 to pick a horse one Sunday ( Mark likes to have a little bet now and then) and believe it or not .. It WON... And Keenan got $50 back.. We couldn't believe it..LOL.. So he got his club and some lollies out of it.....If only we had of back it too..LOL..
speaking of betting.. I picked the winner of the Geelong Cup yesterday!!!... So happy with myself.. I got back $56... I just added that to my scrap shopping tomorrow..LOL...

Layouts, New Shoes and Bubba shoes!!!!

It has been a while since I have popped by.. Been busy. Lots of scrapping and house work and pretty much general life!!!!

I will start with some layouts I have been doing lately.. A lot of them for Arty Pants!!......

U 2 crazy kids... Keenan and Paige.... A very Jen hall inspired layout.. And and thanks Jen for the photo tips!!!!!

Jodie and Judy ( ARTY PANTS) gave me this very ugly gold frame and asked me to do something with it.. This is what I came up with!!! And I LOVE it... But its already up in the shop...So I cant look at it anymore...lol....

Tonight we are going out for dinner and drinks at the bosses house... Scary stuff....So Mark sent me out yesterday to buy a new outfit to wear... I got my outfit and also end up with three yes THREE pairs of new shoes...lol... Hay they where a bargain... $ 15 each... So I had to buy them all...lol... I also got Jorja a pair of shoes... I know she is not walking yet but they are just too cute not to buy...LOL.... Ive been calling them her BUBBA SHOES... lol.. She like to play with them more than wearing them...lol... I took these photo this morning so check out that bed hair...lol....

LOL.... Cause the wonderful talented Jen Hall completed a layout of my little Jorja just for me!!!!

I can't tell you how excited i am about this... Jen would have to be my fave Aussie scraper. I have admired her work and stalking her blog for a long time now. He he he!!... This is one happy little scrapper let me tell you... And when she emailed me the finished layout yesterday I was lost for words... Its just BEAUTIFUL!!!... Here it is .....

I should fill you all in on how this wonderful thing happened to ME!!!... Well Jen sell "scrap-pack" on her blog every 2 weeks or so... And I am proud to say I have pretty much brought everyone!!!!.. I have just finished teaching my very very first scrapbooking class over at ARTY PANTS!!!

I and soooo excited. I hope I went alright and the girls where happy with the class... But I just gald that's over with ... From now on it's should be much easier!!!!..

Sometimes I really miss....

Living on Bribie Island........ I come across a heap of photos I took one morning of the Pelicans on Bribie... And realized just how much I miss living there. I miss the lifestyle, the weather and just how friendly the locals are... I also miss Keenan's school.... A FANTASTIC school... And of course I miss my family... (Marks parents)
I miss waking up every morning and smelling summer... You know that smell.. I miss George... My bird whom we couldn't bring back with us and most of all I miss driving over the bridge every morning as I took Keenan to school... I love that bridge..
